A_Void, 2014

Everyone has a void inside which we either fail to recognize or deliberately avoid accepting. When I see the empty pool here in the DA WANG. I relate it to the emptiness in all of us. We are as incomplete within as the pool is. This spurs me into thinking as to possibly how can we deal with this void inside and how can I relate this experience with my art.

Throughout our life, we strive to seek happiness. Therefore, happiness continues to elude us as long as we seek it from outside rather than from within. We all would continue to feel similar voids inside unless we learn to connect with ourselves through underlying consciousness rather than trying to fill the same by external material resources and man-made ambitions.
